Elizabeth & John
John proposed to Elizabeth on New Years while dining at a restaurant in Chicago and the special occasion was followed by an after party with friends! They both love the outdoors so they knew they had to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. They live in Washington D.C. so they had endless options for naturally beautiful, scenic ceremony spots. Elizabeth and John chose to have their ceremony at the D.C. War Memorial on the National Mall with an indoor reception at Carnegie Institute for Science.
Elizabeth created the invitations and painted table markers with D.C. monuments. Flowers were purchased from Potomac Flower Warehouse and the maid of honor's mother assembled all of the flowers arrangements. Eleven Course Catering crafted a delicious spread of food and the night ended with irresistible pop-tarts from Ted's Bulletin.
Everything about the day was lighthearted, quaint, and full of love from family and friends.
